Ureshino Competition Grade Kamairicha
Toasty, elegant, refined! We are very excited to be able to offer a very special kamairicha, pan-fryed Japanese green tea from Ureshino, Saga prefecture, produced by mr. Kuramitsu Tomiko as an entry to the yearly National Tea Competition. This year there were 787 teas in eight categories accepted to the competition and the tea at hand won the 21st place in the kamairicha category that had 97 entries. It is definitely the highest quality kamairicha that we have stocked. We find Kamairicha to be especially amazing in the colder season as it is not as cold in nature due to the heat generated in the pan-frying process. Only a single kilo available prepacked in Japan in 50 gram bags.
